Celeste Gives Up Tumblr
It’s time.
You’re probably not surprised. I haven’t written much lately because there hasn’t been much to write about.
Fitness has taken a back seat in my life. That’s probably where it belongs. But it wasn’t necessarily of my own accord, and that’s hard to accept. This post explains it pretty well.
I want to run. I want to lift weights. I want to be...

I've been reducing my meat and dairy consumption.
Today’s mishmash of a lunch:
Boca burger
Balsamic-Dijon lentils with carrots, onions and Swiss chard
Grilled zucchini, squash, bell peppers
To answer some questions from my previous post — I have been devouring books on anti-inflammatory diets.
I’ve tentatively decided to transition into a vegan diet.
Unfortunately dairy and eggs are big problems for inflammation and...

Hi guys.
I’ve had a rough couple of weeks.
My knees and foot are killing me. I’ve run once in almost two weeks. I have no energy to go to the gym. And when I do go, it’s an easy hour on the spin bike. The intensity is nonexistent.
I’m walking around like I’m 80.
This is hard.
I have always been so full throttle. And my fitness life was no different. I loved it.

The broken spin bike next to me
Currently occupied by a 30-something, ghetto bro in Js and a do-rag watching Dragon Ball Z.
Can’t stop laughing.

I do mine weekly so there is less risk of spoilage of veggies and meat. Be sure and freeze any meats you won’t use until next week.
Definitely. I’m actually trying to use up meat I already have in the freezer. I’m sure I’ll make another trip to the store next week for more produce, but...

SoS/4n4 Vacation Edition
5/21 - 122.2
…
6/02 - 119.0 (pre-vacation)
6/15 - 118.2 (post-vacation)
4n4 goal:
4/4.9 pounds lost
So proud of myself.
Last time I went to Baltimore, I went crazy on Leeland’s snacks. Two year olds have the tastiest treats, ha.
This vacation though, I kept myself in check.
I may not meet the 4% goal, but I’m calling this a major win.

The worst.
You beeline straight to Trader Joe’s sample counter, only to find extreme disappointment: pieces of cantaloupe.

Just went in Madewell for the first time.
It was really hard not to buy the entire store.
(For the record, I bought nothing. Miraculous.)
